History
Originating in 2002, Pravda Vodka was born out of a vision to create a vodka that encapsulates the essence of Polish tradition and heritage. The distillery is located in the picturesque Tatra region of southern Poland, an area known for its rich natural resources and pristine environment. The creators of Pravda sought to craft a vodka that reflects both the landscapes of Poland and a dedication to quality, leading them to focus exclusively on certified organic ingredients. This commitment to organic production not only elevates the spirit but also aligns it with the growing trend towards sustainability and health-conscious consumption in the spirits industry. Over the years, Pravda has continually refined its process and upheld the highest standards, establishing a reputation that echoes far beyond the borders of Poland.
Fabrication Process
The production of Pravda Bio Vodka is a labor of love, beginning with the careful selection of organic ingredients. The primary component is organic wheat, sourced from certified organic farms dedicated to sustainable agriculture. Once harvested, the wheat undergoes thorough washing to ensure purity. The grains are then mashed and fermented using natural yeast, which fosters the development of rich flavors and aromas. This fermentation process is key to producing a high-quality distillate, as it significantly influences the eventual flavor profile of the vodka.
Following fermentation, the mash is distilled multiple times in pot stills—this traditional method enhances the spirit’s purity and smoothness. After distillation, the vodka is chill-filtered to remove any impurities, ensuring a clean and clear final product. Once filtered, Pravda Bio Vodka is bottled at 40% ABV. This meticulous process, alongside the commitment to organic principles, results in a vodka that not only highlights the craftsmanship of Polish distillation but also resonates with a contemporary sensibility towards organic products.
